L.A. metallers HOLY GRAIL are true road warriors. With the record industry in it&#8217;s current climate, the key to survival for young upcoming Metal bands lies in their ability to maintain a lifestyle suited to the road. So it&#8217;s no surprise when a band graces any particular area with their presence multiple times over a relatively short period of time. HG&#8217;s most recent stroll thru town was in support of DRAGONFORCE and we were fortunate enough to have a face-to-face with guitarist Eli Santana (who with that monicker, had to be an axeman). Musically, we cover the Holy Grail basics, crank the new KREATOR, pay tribute to all the Mums out there with some VAN HALEN, and introduce the UK&#8217;s BLOODSHOT DAWN in our Indie Spotlight. Plus, all our usual News, Views, and Tunes. To think, you didn&#8217;t have to hire Indiana Jones and travel the world to find them either. Horns Up!!</p>

Over the years, Radioactive Metal has compiled a laundry list of indie artists that, after we featured them, went on to sign to a reputable label. It&#8217;s a tongue-in-cheek joke around our offices to claim responsibility for these bands&#8217; good fortune. The indie pool in 2012 is showing a lot of depth in both quality and quantity. So much in fact that we&#8217;ve had to step up our game in giving these artists greater exposure beyond our usual Indie Spotlight. Leading the pack is LA metallers THE BUTCHER BABIES. The Babies possess a strong pedigree, some awesome tunes, and the stage presence of the vocal duo of Snowy&#8217;s Angels Carla and Heidi. For some reason, they really caught the guys&#8217;&#8230; um&#8230; atttention. After a really interesting and entertaining chat with The Babies, it became obvious that their unsigned days are numbered. Joining the BBs on our extensive list will no doubt be 80s crossover revivalists SHE&#8217;S STILL DEAD who we intro in our Indie Spotlight. Finally, we say goodbye to ex-INTO ETERNITY, and good friend of RAM, Rob Doherty. Horns up forever, Dude!!!</p>

Longtime listeners rejoice!! Literally after years of bitchin&#8217; and yackin&#8217; about it, Snowy finally got to see Canuck bashers KITTIE live. Looking a gift horse in the mouth though we grab the opportunity for an interview with the band as well. We&#8217;ve had legendary, multi-platinum, internationally renowned artists on many occasions in the past but it took a face-to-face with drummer Mercedes Lander to make the fanboy starstruck. The rest of show basically has three diehards spending their Friday night yammering away about what they know best and cranking some tunes including the aforementioned Kittie, EXHUMED, and introduce Ottawa deathsters DEAMON in the Indie Spotlight. Friday nights alright for&#8230; Heavy Fn&#8217; Metal!! Horns Up!!!</p>

<itunes:summary>Longtime listeners rejoice!! Literally after years of bitchin&#039; and yackin&#039; about it, Snowy finally got to see Canuck bashers KITTIE live. Looking a gift horse in the mouth though we grab the opportunity for an interview with the band as well. We&#039;ve had legendary, multi-platinum, internationally renowned artists on many occasions in the past but it took a face-to-face with drummer Mercedes Lander to make the fanboy starstruck. The rest of show basically has three diehards spending their Friday night yammering away about what they know best and cranking some tunes including the aforementioned Kittie, EXHUMED, and introduce Ottawa deathsters DEAMON in the Indie Spotlight. Friday nights alright for... Heavy Fn&#039; Metal!! Horns Up!!!</itunes:summary>
