Despite having have our collective fingers on the pulse of Heavy Metal, past, present, and future, both of your RAM hosts are seemingly cut from the cloth. We decided the cool factor of having a female perspective and presence would be through the roof. We put the word out and began our search. The Metal Gods heard our plight and sent us an angel landing in our own backyard. Liz is the host of CKUW’s “Rock N Roll Damnation”, a great photographer of the local Winnipeg Metal scene, and all ’round ultra cool Dudette. Kind of Canada’s answer to “Full Metal Jackie”. Miss Liz introduces herself by regaling us with her experiences from the recent ICED EARTH tour stopover in the River City. She had our jaws dropping and screaming “She’s a keeper, fer sure!”. As if that wasn’t enough, we had a recent cool chat with none other than Chuck Billy of TESTAMENT to discuss the soon to be released “Dark Roots Of Earth” record, some cool honors recently bestowed upon him, and the band’s , umm… legacy.
